Eavesdropping; been there, done that. Jubilant highs, jaw-dropping lows, acute advantages and disheartening drawbacks, marvellous merits and formidable faults; strange how such a fairly simple concept can possess such rewards and repercussions all at the one time, isn’t it? Despite its ambivalent nature, I’m guessing that we’ve all eavesdropped somewhere along the line though, haven’t we? Whether you’re inquisitive, meddlesome, snoopy, or just an all-round lover of gossip, we all tend to bend the ear every once in a while. But if there’s one thing I love more than an elusive eavesdrop, it’s a good ol’ fashioned spray. From the footy field to the schoolyard, the super-maket car park to the household, I’ve borne witness to a multitude of verbal barrages, the good, the bad, and, of course, the ugly – excuse the cliché.
