Life of an Amateur Poet

Chugging down the railway

An old beautiful steam engine

Fast enough to make progress

But never too fast to see the scenery

Steam swirls around wheels

Meadows rolling with flowers

Flow through the windows

The sun dances on the roofs of the cars

A river steadily grows

Eventually Blooming into a lake

Clouds and the Moutains converge

Indistinguishable from the other

On and on the steam engine drives

Always looking for the other side
