This time of day public transport offers an education that you just cannot receive anywhere else. Actually on reflection there must be some other educational establishment its just not available to those of us that are members of society.

The delightful mother and daughter pairing that joined my journey today were a fine example of humanity. The conversations were held at a volume that meant there was no avoiding the subject so I make no apology for recounting it here. We started with the sad story of a an elderly woman who had her benefits stopped because her partner had passed away, she needed to visit the office with a death certificate and this seemed to outrage both women.
