Language is a powerful tool. The way we use it can shape and define everything we believe, and change our opinions on everything from the best place to go on holiday to how we view our fellow citizens.
Newspapers are a key factor in our belief systems and our way of talking about society even if we do not read them every day. They present complicated issues in simple, bite size informatic chunks for us to digest as we go about our business. The people around us read the news, then we discuss as individuals or groups.
